Why Dallas
Texas Weddings Deserve Cinematic Films
Dallas and DFW weddings have a scale and warmth that's unmistakable — Texas grandeur at sprawling ranch estates, skyline drama at modern downtown venues, and golden hour that stretches across wide open sky.
We travel from Orlando to film weddings across Dallas, Fort Worth, and the greater metro. We've shot from Weatherford to Denton, and we come prepared — scouting your venue, coordinating with your planner, and arriving the day before to be fully ready.
Your Dallas wedding film will feel like Texas — big light, honest emotion, and the kind of sunset you only get when there's nothing between you and the horizon.

“We could not be happier with our experience! Corban from Love and Lustre went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day.”

Common Questions
How do you handle Texas heat for outdoor ceremonies?
We plan around the harshest midday sun — prioritizing shade, hydration breaks for the wedding party when possible, and gear that performs in heat. If your timeline is flexible, we’ll help you stack portraits and key moments when light (and temperatures) are kindest.
Is golden hour really that good in DFW?
Yes. North Texas skies are wide open, so sunset often delivers long, painterly light — especially at ranches and vineyards. We’ll align with your planner on ceremony timing so we’re in the right place when that glow hits.
We’re at a ranch — is that different from an urban Dallas venue?
Logistics change (distance between getting-ready spaces, outdoor backup plans, generator noise), but our approach doesn’t. We scout, map your day, and build a shot list that fits the property — whether it’s downtown glass or Hill Country views.
You’re based in Florida — do you travel to Dallas often?
We travel nationwide for weddings. Dallas and DFW are a regular request for us. Flights and accommodation are included in your custom quote — you don’t coordinate travel separately.
What’s the best season for a Dallas wedding film?
Spring and early fall are the sweet spot — milder temps, reliable color, and comfortable outdoor celebrations. Summer and winter can be stunning too; we’ll adapt the plan so your film looks incredible no matter the forecast.
