Why NYC
Tri-State Weddings Deserve Cinematic Films
New York City weddings pulse with energy you won't find anywhere else — rooftop ceremonies with skyline backdrops, landmark venues with marble and chandeliers, Brooklyn loft celebrations with exposed brick and string lights, and upstate estate gardens when you want green hills outside the five boroughs.
We travel from Orlando to film weddings across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley. We've shot at hotels, botanical gardens, industrial venues, and castles — and we come prepared: scouting your space, coordinating with your planner, and arriving the day before to be fully ready.
Your NYC wedding film will feel like New York — the hum of the city, the light off the river, the way your day moves from street level to skyline.

“We could not be happier with our experience! Corban from Love and Lustre went above and beyond in every way. From the very beginning, he was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day.”

Common Questions
How do city logistics affect our wedding film?
NYC moves fast — traffic, load-ins, and tight venue schedules are normal. We build buffer into your timeline, coordinate with your planner on arrival windows, and know how to work efficiently in elevators, street entrances, and busy districts so nothing important gets rushed.
Do we need permits for filming in parks or on the street?
Some public locations require permits or have restrictions for commercial-style filming. We’ll follow your venue’s rules and, when needed, align with your photographer and planner on what’s allowed. If a permit applies, we’ll flag it early so there are no surprises on the day.
We’re having a rooftop ceremony — what about wind and city noise?
Rooftops are stunning but unpredictable. We use wind-smart mic strategy, backup audio when possible, and shot choices that keep dialogue clear. City hum often adds atmosphere; we balance it in the mix so your vows stay intimate while the skyline still feels alive.
When is the best season for an NYC wedding film?
Fall is hard to beat — September through October brings golden light and Central Park foliage that photographs and films like a movie. Spring blooms and summer rooftop sunsets are gorgeous too; winter snow in the city can be magical if you’re ready for the cold.
You’re based in Florida — how does travel to NYC work?
We travel for weddings nationwide. New York is one of our most-requested markets. Flights and accommodation are included in your custom quote — you don’t coordinate anything extra. We arrive the day before so we’re rested, scoped, and ready when your weekend begins.
