The Best Moments Aren't the Posed Ones.

The Problem

Most wedding videos feel like commercials — staged kisses, fake walk-throughs, couples directed back into a moment that already happened. The day gets reshot for the camera, and the camera knows it.

The Fear

That years from now you'll watch your wedding video and recognize the production, but not the day. The vibe will feel borrowed. The emotion will feel performed.

What You Deserve

A film that documents the day as it actually happened. Real laughter, real tears, real silences. The story your day actually tells — not the one a videographer staged for you.

Documentary filmmaking has one rule: the camera follows the story, the story doesn't pause for the camera. Our Doc Film borrows directly from that tradition. We observe. We anticipate. We capture. We never direct.

Quantity is prioritized — every meaningful detail, every candid moment. Carefully curated and presented in complete. We thoughtfully edit live-style, full-length videos of every formal moment in your coverage time. A decade from now, you'll watch this film and feel as if you were there again.

“Watching it back felt like being there again. They caught things I didn't even see happen on the day — the way my grandmother looked during the vows, my best friend wiping his eyes during the toast. Nothing felt staged.”

Years From Now

The Day Doesn't Pause for the Camera.

The unscripted glance during the vows. The way the room got quiet during the toast. These moments only happen once, and they don't happen twice for a re-take. We take a limited number of weddings each month so every couple gets our full attention — peak season dates fill fast.

Better Together

Pair With an Art Film

The Doc Film is the documentary record. The Art Film is the cinematic interpretation — a 4–9 minute musical retelling of the day, built from the same observational footage. Together you get both registers: the truth and the poetry.

When you select Art Film in the package builder, Doc Film is automatically included — the raw footage is shared, so it doesn't make sense to bill twice. A bundle discount applies automatically.

Common Questions

What does "documentary" mean for a wedding film?

It means we observe — we don't direct. No staged kisses, no walk-throughs replayed for the camera, no "do that one more time." We're capturing the day as it actually happens, which means the laughter, tears, and quiet moments are all real.

How is this different from your Highlight / Art Film?

The Art Film is a 4–9 minute cinematic retelling — emotional, musical, condensed. The Documentary Film is the full-length record: complete ceremony, complete toasts, complete first dance. Most couples bundle both because they serve different anniversaries.

How long are the documentary edits?

They run as long as the event ran. A 22-minute ceremony produces a 22-minute edit. Toasts run their natural length. We don't trim for runtime — that's the point of a documentary.

Can I get a Doc Film without an Art Film?

Yes — the documentary film stands alone. If you also pick the Art Film, Doc Film is included automatically (the footage is shared) and a bundle discount applies.

What's the base coverage?

Every booking includes 6 hours of coverage with two videographers. Additional hours are billed per service hourly. You see your custom total instantly in our package builder.

When will I receive my film?

Documentary films are delivered within 14 weeks of your wedding date. We'll keep you posted along the way.

Imagine This

The Day, As It Was

On your tenth anniversary, you'll press play and the day will rush back — exactly as it happened. The vows in your partner's real voice. The toast at its real length. The moments your phone never caught. That's a documentary wedding film.
